MY KAYDET GIRL
Music and Lyrics by Tirso G. Fajardo, USMA '34 and sang by the PMA Cadet Choir

On her lips was a smile my Kaydet Girl
On her eyes are the stars above
For her face is a poem of beauty
Can you blame me sweet for falling in LOVE?
Won't you come near to me?

I'll shower you
With a kiss on each raven curl
Won't you come into my arms?
Dance to our song
For I love you my KAYDET GIRL
[ Be sure to turn on your speakers to sing along with this song. ]

"The Corps," which is the official publication of the Cadet Corps, Armed Forces of the Philippines, features different beautiful and talented Filipinas as its "Kaydet Girls." These young women are usually friends or girlfriends of male cadets. And these are the women who serve as an inspiration to the cadets ... the women who make their lives more meaningful, colorful, and worth struggling for. The adorable looking young lady whose photograph appears above is Chryrocolla "Reia" Marzan Masindo who was featured in the Alumni Issue (May 1998) of "The Corps." The 15 other young and pretty faces were similarly featured in other editions of "The Corps".
